Allison Williams
Allison Howell Williams (born April 13th, 1988) was an American actor and producer. In her roles in horror films and television, she was deemed to be a horror queen in media. The first time she was on screen, she played Marnie in HBO's comedy-drama Girls (2012-17) in the role she received an award from the Critics' Choice Award. She made her breakthrough with her character, Rose Armitage, in the thriller Get Out (2017). It earned her nominations for MTV Movie Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Williams went on to appear in two more horror films The Perfection (2018) and M3GAN (2022) which was the second of which she was executive produced. Williams is the daughter, born and raised, of the former NBC Nightly News Anchor and editor-in-chief Brian Williams and TV Producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. Williams has a brother who is older. Williams attended New Canaan Country School, and Greenwich Academy. Then, she studied English as a student at Yale University. She was also a member Morse College as well as the St. Elmo Secret Society. Williams worked in an Ralph Lauren Outlet Store in New Canaan. She was also an active member for the last four years of the Just Add water improv group, and was a part of the YouTube show College Musical. Sam Tsui starred in the film, while Kurt Hugo Schneider was its director. They both went to Yale. She graduated in 2010 from Yale with a English diploma.
